Tryybe only collects the data needed to run the service: email address, username, password (stored hashed), messages exchanged with other users (text and media: photos, videos, voice messages), profile picture if you add one, external identities you declare voluntarily, geolocation only if you choose to share it in a conversation, and a push notification identifier (FCM token).
The camera and microphone are used only during audio and video calls, in real time. Call streams are neither recorded nor stored on our servers.
Your data is used exclusively to: operate the messaging and calling service, let you be found by other users (if you allow it), and send push notifications if you have consented.
All data is stored on a dedicated server hosted in France. Passwords are hashed (Argon2id). Communications are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Private media is never publicly accessible (time-limited signed URLs).
The usernames you declare on external platforms are visible only according to the visibility settings you choose: nobody, your contacts only, or all users.
Tryybe does not sell any personal data. No data is shared with third parties except where legally required. Notification tokens are sent to Google Firebase (FCM) solely to deliver notifications.
Data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete my account: your personal data is then immediately anonymized and your account made inaccessible.
You have the right to access, rectify and delete your data. To exercise these rights: delete your account from the settings, or contact us at privacy@tryybe.app. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL).
The mobile app uses no cookies and no advertising trackers.
